Butterfly #1

Last month, I tried a padded satin stitch for the first time. I thought the end results looked like cocoons, so today is the day we get to see the butterfly that emerged from one of the cocoons. This isn't a realistic butterfly design. I didn't base it on a real butterfly, but rather some of my favorite Sublime Stitching colors (Amazonite, Canned Mandarin, and Honeysuckle). Eventually, I'll design a more realistic butterfly, but this is a good start.
