Easter Egg

Happy Easter if you celebrate! I'm going to visit my parents a little later today, and enjoy some ham and maybe join the awkward holiday Zoom my dad's side of the family likes to set up for holidays. Good times.

We used to dye eggs for Easter, but stopped after my parents realized neither my brother nor I like hard boiled eggs. We never went wild with the decorations, but it was still fun to do. If I dyed eggs today, they'd definitely be way more elaborate than what I did as a kid. Today's piece is my stitched version of that egg.

Enjoy!

Details:
Stitches: back, satin, whipped back stitches, French knot - these are the same stitches I used yesterday for the cherry blossom piece. It's always fun to see how the same stitches can create a completely different look and vibe from piece to piece.
Thread palette: SS 804, 503, 200 (3 strands)
