We're 26 fortunes into this project! There are 54 more fortunes and 35 more weeks to go. That seems wild to me, but as we all know, time is a construct.
I really like this week's fortunes. I love to travel. I spent most of my early 20s traveling for work, and while that's not the best type of travel, it allowed me to see a lot of the US I wouldn't otherwise have seen. I also had the opportunity to travel to Europe for the first time (Switzerland and the UK) and to Rwanda, a trip I never would have experienced had it not been for my involvement in philanthropic programs at work. I've also traveled a lot on my own and it's always the best thing I can spend my time and money on. I love to go to random places and find fun little shops or cafes and just enjoy being in a new place. If I ever won life-changing lottery money, one of the things I'd set up for myself is a travel account. Money may not buy happiness, but it buys the means to travel and explore, so that's sort of the same thing.
I'm not entirely sure what the second fortune is referring to - maybe it's stuff at work, maybe it's one of my art projects. Maybe it's the fact that I volunteered to be an assistant chief for the next election. Only time will tell.
This was a two fortune week. Here are this week's fortunes and lucky numbers.

WIPs, the Plants, and Other Small Joys
I did get a little more done on Scream 6. I still have at least one more round of French knots to go before I think it's finished. This is one that will tell me when we're done.
The plants are doing so well! I've harvested the lettuce six times and it's still going strong. I'm going to trim all the herbs this weekend and try drying them. I set up a spot to hang them in my pantry. I hope it works. I didn't have a chance to re-pot Elton John the Plant, but hope to it this weekend.
I went to a Nats game this week - they actually won! I know, wild. Anyway, I took a really cool picture of the sky later in the evening. If I was a better painter, I'd want to paint this.
I also had three of my favorite photos of Keely pop up in Facebook memories this week. While it's hard to not have him around anymore, I love seeing his little face in these pictures. They're comforting. I can't explain it.

Just a dude sitting on a chair contemplating if he should jump on the table or commit other crimes. |

So unflattering. So cute. |

Laying on the floor and listening to original cast albums would probably solve a lot of problems for all of us. |
