I really wanted to paint part of this week's piece, so I did. I didn't really have a plan or design in mind when I sat down to paint, but I'm pleased with what I came up with. Since I had a work event this week and had to be at the office, I also wanted something manageable since I'd be home later in the day. This was fun to make. I love the shininess of the metallic watercolor paint and the DMC Etoile thread.

Work in Progress (that's funny)
I finally bought an embroidery kit from the
Savage Stitcher. I own a few of her original pieces, but really wanted to try out a kit. I love it. I rarely do woven wheel roses and I'm so glad there are a few in this pattern.
And yes, I'm aware that I bought kits in London and haven't started them yet. I also have an entire basket of projects and patterns and Polaroids that need to be stitched. Their time will come.
