October: Live, Laugh, Love with Rob Zombie - Week 3

Three little cats are done! Molly was my first cat; I adopted her in college. She was so freaking cute and had a little orange spot on her tail and the top of her head. She was the first pet I ever had on my own and I loved being her human. I ended up moving to Hawaii after I graduated from college (my dad was stationed there) and I couldn't afford the quarantine for Molly. My friend Jason took her in and she lived out the rest of her life happily with him. I don't have any pictures from that period of her life, but look at her as a kitten! So tiny.

Y'all already know Keely and he closes out my little cat trio. He's pretty mad at me this week since the dog is here and I'm pretty sure he knows I'm going out of town again. Despite this current disappointment, he's still my dude. I mean, look at that face and that razzle dazzle leg!

Here's this week's recap:

It has to dry BUT look at those cute cats sitting on their Halloween ledge! Look at them!

WIPs and Other Stuff from the Week

I started a Halloween themed PopLush pattern this week. The color combination is pretty great and who doesn't love a spider?

My parents went on a little trip so I've been watching their dog. Keely and Frida have been incredibly entertaining. I think they secretly like one another.

New album cover - what would their band name be?

I also went to the fancy people gala reopening of the National Museum of Women in the Arts (NMWA). I've been volunteering there since 2013 and this was the first opening party I've ever gone to. The renovation is beautiful and the new flow of the galleries is really interesting. I'm excited to start taking visitors on tour. Docent class wraps up in December. If you have a chance, come visit!

Two of my favorite artists in one gallery.

I'll be in Orlando for a conference starting tomorrow, so the stitch journal will be on another road trip for most of next week. The next themed section: ghosts.

How freaking cute is this little ghost I drew? I love him.
