We've reached the end of month nine! Three more months left in the year and three more months of this year's 365 project. As I've been working on this section I realized there wasn't much more room to go if I kept using the big hoop. The big hoop has been great, but is also getting a little unwieldy. I decided for the remaining three months, I'll use a smaller hoop and work on smaller sections of the piece.

The stitch journal as of 9:45 this morning. |
I decided to continue working on the section I've been working on recently. I'll move around after a week or two through the end of the year. This will give me an opportunity to round out various sections of the journal and add to sections again if I so choose. I should have enough fabric and enough thread to get through the end of the year.

Returned to the standing hoop I used last year. |
Here's this week's recap:

September 25: more curvy stem stitches |

September 26: My friend Kelly was in town this week and we went to see the Kusama rooms at the Hirshhorn. Added some more French knots in Kusama's honor. |

September 27: Found some more thread I think is Amazonite, but it's hard to tell. The thread was perfect for a long line of back stitches. |

September 28: Pink stem stitches |

September 30: The section under the spot I worked on Thursday was very empty and this is how I filled it. The stem stitches look good and it's an interesting shape. |

October 1: Yes, it looks like a pink bunny. Completely unintentional. |
No WIPs this week. I probably won't start a non-journal project until later this month. However, Kevin the Spider did get framed this week. He looks good.
