It has been a week! I organized and hosted a three day virtual event at work this week, and I'm still a little tired. It went very well; no stress dreams (I usually have stress dreams about this event) and the group seems to be coming together nicely. I finished the sky portion of Sheep Metal on Sunday. I hope to finish the sheep this week. So close to being done.
There's not real theme to this week's stitch journal entries: I started with a quote from on of the chefs from Top Chef Portland, and ended with how I may have referred to my mom earlier this week when discussing the anniversary party me and my brother are planning for our parents' 50th anniversary in May. I never thought I'd say it, but my mom is a bit of a chaos agent.
February 6 - Top Chef Shota's quote amused me. |
February 7 - whipped back stitch |
February 8 - I like patterns and structure. |
February 9 - French knots |
February 9 - French knots |
February 9 - I used a piece of yarn from the ort jar to make French knots. There are two sections of knots. |
February 10 - stem and whipped stem stitches |
February 11 - a little applique-ish piece. There was an owl in the ort jar. |
February 12 - chaos agent |
