The Nightmare Before Christmas is one of my favorite movies, holiday or not. It's fun and clever, and of course, a little spooky and a little Christmas-y. One of my favorite songs is "Jack's Obsession." One of the lyrics I like a lot is the focus of today's piece:
Just because I cannot see it, doesn't mean I can't believe it.
I thought it would be cool to make this piece with glow in the dark thread, so you can see it in different levels of light. Jack was talking about understanding the feeling that Christmas gives him; it's not something you can see or scientifically prove. It just is.
We'll be watching this movie later this evening as is our tradition. Have a wonderful Christmas Eve (if you celebrate) or a lovely Friday (if you don't).
