Angel

This is the fourth version of the design for today's piece. I wanted to include an angel this month since I know it's a design my mom will enjoy. My original idea was to create something similar to felt angel ornaments that are always popular this time of year, but it didn't look as good as I hoped. Then I tried a combination of fabric and felt to create an applique version, but it looked sad. The third version was a variation of today's design, but with a different fabric. Then I stepped back and realized I was trying too hard. I was complicating things, as I sometimes do, and decided I needed to scale it back a bit. I opted to use this angel shape and gold glitter tulle to create today's angel. It's possible it looks like a ghost, but I'm fine with that.
