One of the things I've noticed about my work over the course of this project is that I'm getting better at curved lines. Curved lines are hard in embroidery given the way stitches meet up or how thread sits on a curve. Today's piece is all about curvy lines. I was inspired by one of my favorite stitches, the whipped back stitch, icicle ornaments (I'm trying to decide if I want some for my tree this year), and the Devo song, "Whip It." It's been in my head for some reason today, and now it's probably in yours. Enjoy!
