I've been meaning to try another negative space piece after my very intense version featuring French knots back in May. I've learned my lesson about time during the week, so I opted for a satin stitch version today instead. I like this technique a lot and am starting to think of things I can make after this project ends. I definitely want to try to create a negative space piece using flowers or other shapes.
Details:
Stitches: satin stitch
Thread palette: DMC 813, 799, 809, 3840 (3 strands) - I tried to do an equal number of passes for each color, but ended up doing using 813 and 3840 to fill in gaps at the end.
