My mom likes to put up wreaths for different holidays. She's done this my whole life, and I always thought I'd be a wreath person too. However, I've never really gotten into making or buying wreaths. I look at them whenever I go to a craft store or Target around the wreath-focused holiday (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Mardi Gras, and Easter), but I never buy one or make one. I was thinking about this last night as I watched The Holiday and drew some flowers. Today's flower reminds me of the kinds of flowers my mom would buy to make fall wreaths.
I rarely use the fishbone stitch for flower petals. It's more appropriate for leaves or feathers, but I thought I'd give it a try today. I don't know that it looks like a chrysanthemum, but it could be one.
