Marshmallows

Way back in 2008, I learned how to make homemade marshmallows. To say that my life has changed since learning how to do this would be an understatement. Making marshmallows is the closest I'm ever going to get to being either a magician or a scientist. There's a fine line between magic and science when it comes to making marshmallows.

It's not a particularly hard thing to do, but you do need a stand mixer and a candy thermometer. Now that the weather has gotten colder, I've been drinking hot chocolate in the afternoon. I made myself some marshmallows to enjoy with my hot chocolate. Today's piece is inspired by my return to making marshmallows.
