I watched The Nightmare Before Christmas while I was drawing the trees for this week's theme. Today's piece was definitely influenced by the opening song, "This is Halloween," and the trees in the movie. I wanted to do something a bit more abstract; I don't know this is exactly abstract, but it's not realistic either.
The Nightmare Before Christmas is one of my favorite holiday-themed movies. I'll probably watch it at least 10 more times between now and Christmas. I love a movie you can watch for two holidays!
