Happy Halloween! I hope you have a fantastically spooky day. I have a day of scary movies planned once I get my errands done.
One of my favorite movies as a child was The Worst Witch. It starred Fairuza Balk as Mildred, the worst witch at Miss Cackle's International Academy for Witches. She's terrible at spells, can't really fly, and gets the only non-black cat on cat assignment day. One of the weirdest parts of this movie is Tim Curry. He plays the Grand Wizard, and visits the school on Halloween to sing a song called "Anything Can Happen on Halloween." It's a lot for a kids' movie in 1986, but it's also fantastic. I usually share this video on Halloween since anything can happen on Halloween, but last year I thought it probably wasn't the best thing to do. Instead, I wrote a cautionary blog about the things you shouldn't do on Halloween in 2020. I stand by this for 2021; we don't need anything else to happen this year.
Enjoy my last piece of October. I had more fun with glow in the dark thread. I can't help myself.
