I watched Bob Ross: Happy Accidents, Betrayal & Greed last night. The documentary is on Netflix, and it focuses on Ross's rise to fame as everyone's favorite TV artist, but also on the relationship with his business partners and his son. I was worried about watching the film; what if Bob Ross wasn't the nice man we all know and love? Don't fret, friends. Bob Ross is still the good man we all know and love; he's a human, but nothing particularly horrifying is revealed. His business partners, however, seem like terrible people. I'll leave it at that so you can watch and decide for yourself.
Today's piece includes a Bob Ross quote I've always liked. It's definitely one I can identify with as I approach the end of month eight of this project. I believe I can make 365 embroidered pieces. I may not always know what each day is actually going to be, but I believe I can do it. I also wanted to use sequins today, and came up with the idea of a reveal instead of making something out of sequins. I think it works and it was fun to make.
Here's the full quote:
The secret to doing anything is believing you can do it. Anything that you believe you can do strong enough, you can do. As long as you believe.
Enjoy!
