Hurricane Ida made landfall in Louisiana yesterday afternoon. It's still too soon to know the extent of the damage this hurricane has caused, but we do know large portions of Louisiana are without power, the wind did extensive damages to buildings and roofs, and that flooding continues to be a threat. Other parts of the Gulf Coast also experienced rain and wind as the storm made landfall and moved north. Hurricane Ida will continue her track through the end of the week across several other states.
