One of the things I really enjoy about my job is that we have a really active diversity and inclusion community. I've had the honor of being a moderator for our women's group, and we've had some amazing and difficult sessions around race, racism, and queer identity. I have a tremendous amount of respect for my colleagues who have shared very personal stories about these issues/topics, and who inspire me to be a better ally every day.
Today's piece is inspired by one of the Pride flags, the Progress Pride flag, created by Daniel Quasar in 2018. I wanted to do something rainbow themed this month, but also wanted it to be in my style, so I went with a little bit of an abstract rainbow design.
Happy Pride!
