June

We made it to June! By month's end, it'll be the halfway mark of this project. I wasn't sure I'd make it to the sixth month, so it's exciting. There's a lot to celebrate in June: my birthday, Donut Day, my dad and aunt's birthdays, Father's Day, Keely Gotcha Day, there's a primary election, and I finally reveal the name of the happy, little bee. June is going to be amazing. 

Today's piece is a quote from the book Anne of the Island, the third book in the Anne of Green Gables series by L.M. Montgomery. I remember reading the first few books when I was younger. I've seen this quote over the years, and I think it's a wonderful sentiment about June. It's both spring and summer. There's an air of excitement over warmer weather and the possibility of doing normal-ish things again. June is wonderful.
