A Tribute to French Knots, Part 5: Tiny Sheep

I follow a lot of embroidery artists and embroidery/cross stitch/needlework themed accounts on social media. It's fun to see what other people create and imagine. I've seen variations of today's piece over the years, but since I've only been able to complete a French knot for a year now, I never tried it. What's fun about this design is that it's always going to be unique. If I do this again in a month, it will look completely different. If you make your own tiny sheep, it will look different than mine. That's what I love about embroidery - the same stitch has the ability to surprise me every time I use it.

Today, I give you tiny sheep.

Details:
Stitches: French knots, back stitches
Thread palette: DMC 310, B5200 (3 strands) - I wound the knot four times.
