Another flower doodle

One of my favorite parts of this project so far has been discovering that I'm better at drawing than I think I am. I'm not great, but I'm better than I think I am. Like math, drawing was one of those things I didn't do well at in school, so I was discouraged to do it and focused on things I was good at like reading, bossing people around (former stage manager), and spacial reasoning. Anyway, since I started making my own patterns more last year, I've found the drawing side of things is something I look forward to. Fun fact: you can Google how to draw pretty much anything. It's wild.

Another benefit of drawing is that I've found a way to occupy myself during long meetings where I'm not an active participant (meaning I don't have to say anything). Doodling keeps me focused on listening. It's awesome. Today's flower doodle was drawn during a town hall meeting at work. I remember more from that meeting and I only took a few notes. Doodling for the win.
