I've never gotten the hang of Thursdays either. Thursdays make my brain hurt. I mean, you'd think a Thursday would be great since it's one day closer to Friday, but it always seems to be busy and rainy and gray. I decided to do another version of this piece because it makes me feel more okay about it being Thursday. I did a version of this pattern back in January, also on a Thursday. Today, I decided to try different stitches and different colors rather than sticking to back stitch and a single color (January's version was done using a Color Variation thread from DMC - an ombre style thread). What's fun about doing this a second time is that it's not the exact same pattern. I drew it from a slightly different angle than the one in January, so the design catches different loops and bends.
