Stitch Study #2

I decided today would be another stitch in detail day. Over the summer, I finished my first embroidered portrait. It's a portrait of Frida Kahlo from a kit by Jenny Hart. The chain stitch was one of the stitches I knew how to do, but hadn't done in a long time. I found a great video on Cutesy Crafts's YouTube channel, and go myself back in a chain stitch groove. I haven't used the stitch much since finishing the portrait, so I thought I'd bring it back for today.

Details:
Stitches: chain and back stitches
Thread palette: DMC 415, 4517 (3 strands)
