Snow

We made it to February! I'm excited to start month two of An Embroidery a Day. I have a few planned posts ready for this month, and a whole lot of "well, I hope something interesting happens" waiting to unfold. Today's piece is in honor of the first snowfall of 2021. Normally, I'm not a fan of snow because I have to commute, but since I work from home now and have nowhere to go, I love snow. My neighborhood looks all postcard-y (as much as I can see from my windows; I haven't ventured outside).

Remind me of this piece when I complain about the cold and future snow events.

Keely decided to check out my stitching today. He's not supposed to be on the table, but the movement of the thread was just too tempting.

Details:
Stitches: satin, straight, and back stitches, French knots
Thread palette: DMC B5200 (snow white), Etoile Blanc, C519
