While I wouldn't have been riding this year for various reasons, tonight would have been the night of the parade I was in 2019 and 2020. Wearing a mask is part of being a krewe member, and masking for Mardi Gras in general. Today's piece was inspired by that piece of Mardi Gras tradition.
