I've been neglecting my art journaling. I subscribe to a monthly art journal series through a company called Let's Make Art. I've enjoyed doing it; I feel like my skills, particularly sketching and painting, have gotten better. I've used some of the prompts for inspiration in my embroidery, particularly with abstract pieces. I got a little behind with my journal, so I decided to get started on February's first tutorial. It includes doodling, which is one of my favorite things to do these days. You can do the tutorial even if you're not a subscriber.

One of my other doodles didn't make it to this journal page so I decided to use it for today's embroidery piece. I love stitching leaves so today was a lot of fun.
